QR code generator
QR codes for links, Wi-Fi, LINE, contact cards and more. Add color, a logo and text, then download PNG or SVG. They never expire and have no watermark.
Limits
- Every QR is static. The data sits in the QR itself, so it never expires and works even if this site is down, but you cannot change the destination after printing. To see how many scans you get, turn on "Count scans", which goes through ReefLink.
- We do not keep your text, Wi-Fi password or logo. The logo and the text under the QR are put together only in your browser.
- Each QR holds up to 1,200 bytes (Thai takes 3 bytes per character), so phone cameras can scan it at a normal print size.
- Creating through POST is unlimited. Images by URL are limited to 120 qr.svg and 60 qr.png requests per IP every 15 minutes.
- The data for qr.svg/qr.png is in the URL. Do not share the image link of a Wi-Fi QR. Use the SVG you downloaded instead.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I print a QR as a sheet of stickers?
- Yes. Open the file options under the QR, choose 6, 12 or 20 per sheet, then press PDF. You get an A4 page full of the same QR with cut lines, good for a Wi-Fi QR or a menu on every table. You can add the text under the QR first.
- Do QR codes from here expire?
- No. Many QR sites give you a "Dynamic QR" that runs through their server and stops when the trial ends. A QR from here holds the real data directly and scans forever. If you choose to count scans, the ReefLink link never expires either.
- Does it still scan with a logo?
- Yes. When you add a logo, the QR switches to error correction level H, which tolerates about 30% being covered, and the logo takes up less than 6% of the QR. Test it with a phone every time before you print.
- What size should I print?
- At least 2×2 cm for close-up scanning, and about 1/10 of the scanning distance. For example, a sign scanned from 1 meter should be 10 cm wide. Use the SVG or the 2048 px PNG for printing.
- Does it work with WPA3 Wi-Fi?
- Yes. Choose WPA, which covers WPA2/WPA3. The phone connects using whichever standard the router uses.
- How does counting scans work?
- The QR points to a short link, reefsight.tech/l/..., which counts the click and forwards to the real link. See the count on the ReefLink page with the link's code. We do not keep any data about the people who scan.
